This site gives Subaru Performance Vehicle owners access to Factory Developed, Warranted and Authorised parts developed by STI Japan in conjunction with Subaru Australia Technical Staff and SRTA Australia Drivers and Engineering Staff.

All parts listed unless otherwise stated are suitable for road use and comply with all regulatory requirements and are covered by the STI Sports Parts Warranty. You should be aware that some parts are designed especially for high performance use, and although OK for road use may compromise some of the features of your vehicle in other respects. For example whilst installation of the enhanced clutch will increase the maximum torque capacity of the clutch, it will also lead to increases in transmission noise, clutch judder and clutch/driveline wear rates. Accordingly it is important you make your choice with the intended use of your vehicle carefully in mind.

High Tech Styling Parts

• STI Gear Knobs and sophisticated high quality STI Sill Plates and Bumper Protection panels are available.
• Front and rear spoilers are listed, which not only enhance the appearance of your vehicle but are designed by STI to aerodynamically reduce lift and improve the high speed handling of your car.

Competition Clutches and Flywheels

These are primarily designed for the Rally or Track competitor who needs increased performance and while ok for road use will increase transmission noise, clutch judder and clutch driveline wear rates.

Brake

Braided clutch hoses and brake lines significantly improve pedal feel. The difference is staggering.

Suspension and Handling Kits

These kits are divided into:

• Lowering Kits - springs only lowering the vehicle approximately 15mm depending on the kit
• Handling Kits - significantly lowering the vehicle more than the Lowering Kits (up to 25mm). This is achieved by significantly stiffer spring rates than standard and consequently need a retuned strut to maintain the excellent ride and handling characteristics of your vehicle. In testing under Australian conditions these struts achieve a significant increase in vehicle handling capacity with little compromise to the vehicle ride. In many conditions the ride is actually improved. On MY03 - 05 models the damping in these struts is the same as the Adjustable S-Tune struts when they are set to setting 2.
• S-Tune fully adjustable struts - Fully adjustable, Rally and Race bred struts. These Struts are tuned by Subaru and SRTA Factory drivers and STI Engineers. They are fully adjustable for height and damping. These struts offer the ultimate Performance Enthusiast the opportunity to tune the vehicle to differing driving conditions and their particular driving style.
  

Stabilizer Bar Kits

For WRX and some STI - improve the roll control and handling of your vehicle. Where the vehicle is used in competition the bars can be used alternately front or rear to tune the vehicle into the competitors driving style.

Strut braces and lower arm bars stiffen the body. Bush kits and strut tops developed for Group N rally competition significantly stiffen the suspension attachment points. The body and bushes are often the most important component of any suspension system, controlling camber loss, toe change and steering sensitivity.

Often these parts are tuned for NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) on the standard car. These parts offer the opportunity for a performance vehicle owner to maximize the handling and steering of their car when you can afford to compromise on the vehicle's noise and ride characteristics.

STI strut braces and lower arm bars are also designed and proven to be more durable in the high demands of Rally competition. STI ball jointed links go one step further, the ultimate suspension stiffness part. T
hese STI parts are a pre-requisite of any World Rally Car or highly modified circuit car. They are also suitable for STI owners prepared to sacrifice noise and ride characteristics for increased performance.

Engine Performance Kits

Available for WRX (model years 2003 to 2005). Coming in January 2005, the WRX Engine Performance Upgrade gives STI punch to your WRX. Throttle response is crisp and sharp and Peak Power is lifted to 175kW.

Highly visible silicon radiator hoses, high pressure radiator caps and STI Rally Bred air filters improve the under hood appearance and function of your car.

Finally cast an eye over the Rally bred STI wheels. In the correct width and offset for your vehicle, these wheels are ultra lightweight made from high strength forged aluminium. This is the same manufacturing process used on the STI rims used by SRTA. In the extreme demands of the Production World Rally Championship last year, the Subaru Production Rally Team only bent 3 rims. To enhance the appearance and protect your Subaru, Performance rims use STI Lock Nuts. 3 Piece construction and three colour choices, this is the ultimate wheel nut.

Note: All STI Sports Parts listed on this web site and sold for "road use" comply with all Australian Design Regulations (ADRs) and regulatory requirements and are covered by the STI Sports Parts Warranty supplied by Subaru (Aust) Pty Limited ACN 000 312 792 ("Subaru Australia"). The Subaru STI Sports Parts Warranty is in addition to the rights and remedies conferred on consumers by the Trade Practices Act and other applicable Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation. The Warranty does not affect those rights or remedies, except to the extent that their application may lawfully be excluded.

The Subaru STI Sports Parts warranty only covers "STI Sports Parts", which are supplied for road use only. Genuine "STI Race Parts" which are supplied solely for race, rallying and other motor sport purposes, are not covered by the STI Sports Parts Warranty.

"STI Race Parts" should only be installed on vehicles intended solely for use in motor sports, and are not suitable for regular road use. Installation of "STI Race Parts" may cause the vehicle to become non-ADR compliant. Customers should note that vehicle deterioration, defect, fault or failure caused due to its use in motor sports events (including racing, rallying, speed trialing, hill climbing or similar activities or competitive events) is not covered under the Subaru New Vehicle Warranty.

Your Subaru STI dealer can advise as to the suitability for use of any genuine STI part and whether it is covered by warranty. Where a part is suitable only for motor sport use and is not covered by the STI Sports Parts Warranty, the customer may otherwise have rights and remedies conferred by the Trade Practices Act and other applicable Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation.

Some STI Parts may require the installation of additional parts or the removal of other parts of your vehicle in order to operate as intended by the manufacturer. STI Parts should only be installed by fully qualified technicians in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. To the maximum extent permitted by law Subaru Australia and its related bodies corporate accept no liability for parts which have been incorrectly installed or which have been installed and used for a purpose other than for the intended purpose for which the part was designed.
